Been up to the pool twice this week. The boys got upset with me because I gave them a new goal/challenge for the pool. I told them they would get ice cream when they completed it. My intention was for it to be a goal over the next week or two, but no, they thought it had to happen within the next 5 minutes. They all got very irritated when I would not get them ice cream. B needs to swim the length of the pool while properly breathing (turning head instead of lifting head), Jbird needs to swim the length of the pool (he can do it, just does not think he can) and JB needs to go down the slide by himself and swim over to the ladder and climb out, all by himself. Unfortunately, Jbird initially held on to the slide while going down and JB has picked it up...so he stops at the end of the slide. Jbird will get his tonsils out next Wednesday the 8th. The 7th is JB's 3rd birthday and when they are getting haircuts! Looks like we will start B on the first phase of orthodontics (with spacers and expanders) later this month! Off to watch the olympics.
